Welcome to PlaceHi.
These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service", or "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the PlaceHi website, mobile applications, software, services, features, APIs, business tools, place profiles, content services, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services") operated by:

By creating an account, accessing, browsing, connecting an external account, creating a Place, claiming or managing a Place, submitting Content, using any PlaceHi business tools, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
Where you use the Services on behalf of a company, business, organization, partnership, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" includes that entity.
PlaceHi is a platform for discovering, sharing, contributing information about, and managing real-world places and locations.
A "Place" may include, without limitation:
restaurants and cafés;
shops and retail locations;
hotels and accommodation;
hospitals and healthcare facilities;
schools and educational institutions;
tourist attractions;
parks, beaches, mountains, waterfalls and viewpoints;
temples, museums, landmarks and cultural locations;
events and event venues;
offices, coworking spaces and commercial properties;
public places;
community locations;
businesses;
other real-world locations or entities that PlaceHi permits.
PlaceHi may provide different functionality to different users, including explorers, contributors, business owners, managers, administrators and other authorized parties.
You must meet the minimum legal age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create and operate an account.
Unless PlaceHi expressly provides otherwise, accounts may only be created by individuals who are at least 18 years old.
You must not create an account if:
you are legally prohibited from using the Services;
your use of the Services violates applicable law;
your account has previously been suspended or terminated by PlaceHi for serious or repeated violations; or
you are attempting to impersonate another person or entity.
If a jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age, the higher minimum age applies.
PlaceHi is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
You may create an account using email/password, supported social login providers, including Google, or other authentication methods that PlaceHi may make available.
You are responsible for:
providing accurate information;
maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
maintaining a secure device and email account;
promptly notifying PlaceHi of unauthorized access;
all activity occurring through your account, except where caused by PlaceHi's breach or another circumstance for which you cannot legally be held responsible.
You must not:
share passwords;
sell, transfer or rent your account;
access another user's account without permission;
use false identity information;
create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
bypass security controls;
create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
PlaceHi may require additional verification where reasonably necessary to protect users, businesses, the platform, or against fraud.
A user may have a personal profile and may also create, claim, manage, or contribute to one or more Place profiles.
A Place profile may contain information such as:
name;
category;
description;
address;
contact details;
website;
hours;
photographs;
videos;
social links;
ratings;
reviews;
posts;
events;
offers;
business information;
external platform information;
other place-related information.
PlaceHi does not guarantee that information displayed on a Place profile is current, complete, accurate or authentic.
A Place may exist on PlaceHi even if it has not been claimed by its owner.
Creating, claiming, managing or receiving a "verified" status for a Place does not automatically establish legal ownership of the underlying business, property, trademark, company, premises or other real-world asset.
PlaceHi may offer verification mechanisms to determine whether a user appears authorized to manage a Place.
Verification may include, depending on the circumstances:
email verification;
telephone verification;
business documents;
domain verification;
external platform authorization;
Google Business Profile authorization;
other verification methods.
A "Verified", "Claimed", "Owner", "Manager" or similar badge indicates only that PlaceHi has completed the applicable verification or authorization process. It is not a governmental certification, regulatory approval, legal title, accreditation, professional license, or guarantee of legitimacy.
PlaceHi may suspend, revoke or change verification status at any time where information is inaccurate, authorization is withdrawn, fraud is suspected, or continued verification is no longer justified.
A Place owner or manager must only manage a Place for which they have authority to do so.
You represent and warrant that:
you are authorized to manage the Place;
information submitted by you is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
you have the right to upload or authorize the use of all submitted business material;
you will not misrepresent affiliation with another business;
you will not interfere with another business's legitimate profile;
you will not make misleading claims about ownership, certification, location, pricing or services.
Where multiple users manage the same Place, PlaceHi may rely on its internal role and authorization system to determine access.
PlaceHi may integrate with third-party services including Google services and Google Business Profile.
Where you connect a Google account or Google Business Profile:
you authorize PlaceHi to access only the permissions you approve;
PlaceHi may receive Google account, Business Profile, location, review, post, performance or other information permitted by the authorization granted and applicable Google APIs;
PlaceHi may use such information only for the disclosed functionality and applicable legal and third-party policy requirements;
you may revoke access through Google or PlaceHi where supported;
PlaceHi may be unable to provide certain functionality if authorization is revoked, expires, becomes invalid, or the relevant third-party service changes;
PlaceHi does not claim that Google endorses, sponsors, certifies or partners with PlaceHi unless expressly authorized in writing.
Google Business Profile API access is restricted to businesses that users own or are authorized to manage, and Google requires specific user authorization for actions taken on behalf of businesses.
PlaceHi may display, synchronize, analyze, or act upon third-party information only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable third-party service terms and policies.
Where Google data is involved, Google's terms and policies may impose additional limitations on storage, retention, display, processing and use.
"Content" includes any information, text, photographs, images, videos, audio, reviews, ratings, comments, posts, profiles, place information, messages, documents, links, files, recommendations or other material submitted, uploaded, transmitted, edited or otherwise provided by you.
You retain ownership of Content that you own.
However, by submitting Content to PlaceHi, you grant PlaceHi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, format, adapt, display, distribute and communicate that Content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, improve and promote the Services, subject to your rights under applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
This license may continue for Content that has been incorporated into lawful records, backups, audit logs, aggregated or de-identified information, or material that must be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or protect the Services.
You may delete Content where the relevant feature allows deletion, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
PlaceHi does not obtain ownership of your original Content merely because you submit it.
You represent and warrant that:
you own the Content or have sufficient rights to submit it;
your Content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other rights;
you have obtained necessary permissions from identifiable individuals when required;
your Content does not violate applicable law;
your Content does not contain malware or malicious code;
your Content is not intentionally fraudulent or misleading;
your Content does not impersonate another person or organization;
any claims about businesses, products, services or experiences are made honestly and not deceptively.
You are solely responsible for Content that you submit.
Some Content is intended to be publicly visible.
Public Content may be:
viewed by other users;
indexed by search engines;
shared using links;
quoted or referenced by other users;
displayed on Place profile pages;
included in recommendations, feeds or discovery features.
You should not publish personal, confidential, financial, medical, government-ID, authentication, payment, or other sensitive information about yourself or another person unless you have a lawful reason and the necessary rights to do so.
You acknowledge that no online service can guarantee that information made public will never be copied by third parties.
Reviews and ratings must represent genuine experiences or opinions.
You must not:
create fake reviews;
purchase reviews;
sell reviews;
create reviews for compensation without required disclosure;
review a business deceptively;
impersonate a customer;
manipulate ratings;
create multiple accounts to influence ratings;
pressure users to remove legitimate reviews;
submit reviews containing knowingly false factual allegations;
submit reviews intended primarily to harass, threaten, extort or defame.
PlaceHi does not guarantee that every review or rating is authentic, accurate, fair or unbiased.
A rating represents user-submitted opinion and should not be treated as an objective measurement or official certification.
PlaceHi may remove, limit, suppress, label or otherwise moderate Reviews when permitted by law and our policies.
Business owners and authorized managers may respond to reviews where PlaceHi provides that functionality.
Business responses must:
remain relevant;
be truthful;
not disclose private customer information;
not contain threats or harassment;
comply with applicable law;
comply with applicable third-party platform rules where cross-posted.
Where PlaceHi responds or publishes content on behalf of a business to a connected third-party platform, the business must have provided the required authorization.
Google specifically requires authorization before a third party responds to reviews on behalf of a client and prohibits automatic or programmatic review responses without the user's prior specific and express consent.
You must not use the Services to:
commit or facilitate fraud;
impersonate another person or business;
harass, stalk or threaten another person;
upload malicious software;
distribute spam;
conduct phishing;
attempt unauthorized account access;
scrape or collect data in violation of our policies or applicable law;
interfere with platform security;
circumvent access controls;
manipulate rankings through fraudulent activity;
publish fake businesses;
falsely claim ownership;
manipulate reviews;
upload illegal content;
distribute content that violates intellectual-property rights;
expose private personal information without authorization;
engage in discrimination, incitement or unlawful hate activity;
facilitate violence or criminal activity;
promote scams;
exploit children;
use the Service for unlawful surveillance;
conduct automated activity that causes excessive load;
use the Service to build a competing database where prohibited by law or contract;
reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except where legally permitted;
use another person's credentials;
use PlaceHi for any purpose prohibited by applicable law.
PlaceHi may maintain separate Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Rules that provide additional requirements.
PlaceHi may restrict, remove, disable, label or review Content that it reasonably believes:
is unlawful;
violates these Terms;
violates our Community Guidelines;
threatens safety;
infringes third-party rights;
contains malware;
constitutes fraud;
contains unauthorized private information;
involves exploitation or abuse;
creates material risk to users or PlaceHi;
violates applicable platform/API policies.
Where required by law, PlaceHi may cooperate with competent authorities.
Where legally permitted, we may notify users affected by enforcement actions and provide an appeal or review mechanism.
For users in jurisdictions providing additional mandatory content-moderation or notice-and-action rights, those rights apply to the extent required by applicable law.
PlaceHi may provide tools for reporting:
illegal Content;
copyright infringement;
trademark infringement;
impersonation;
privacy violations;
fraudulent businesses;
fake reviews;
abuse;
safety concerns;
other policy violations.
Reports should include sufficient information for us to investigate.
Submitting deliberately false reports may result in account restrictions.
The Services and their underlying software, design, interfaces, trademarks, logos, databases, branding, documentation and original materials are owned by or licensed to PlaceHi and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not:
copy;
reproduce;
modify;
distribute;
sell;
sublicense;
reverse engineer;
extract;
publicly perform;
create derivative works from;
commercially exploit
PlaceHi's proprietary materials.
"PlaceHi" and its logos and trademarks may not be used without prior written permission except where permitted by law.
The Services may contain or reference information originating from third parties.
This may include:
Google;
map providers;
review platforms;
business directories;
social networks;
advertisers;
businesses;
users;
data providers;
payment providers;
hosting providers;
analytics providers.
PlaceHi does not necessarily endorse third-party information, services, products or claims.
Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Google, Google Maps, Google Business Profile and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC.
PlaceHi is an independent third-party platform.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, nothing in the Services or these Terms creates or implies a partnership, sponsorship, certification, endorsement or affiliation between PlaceHi and Google.
Google's Business Profile policies expressly prohibit third-party tools from suggesting such an endorsement.
PlaceHi may use artificial intelligence or machine-learning technologies to provide features including:
content recommendations;
place recommendations;
review summaries;
sentiment or topic analysis;
business insights;
content suggestions;
translations;
automated moderation;
search ranking;
fraud detection;
assistance with posts or responses.
AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased or inappropriate.
AI-generated information is provided as assistance and should not be relied upon as:
legal advice;
medical advice;
financial advice;
professional advice;
safety certification;
factual certification;
regulatory approval;
proof of business ownership.
Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated material before publishing or acting upon it.
Where AI generates Content for a business, the business remains responsible for ensuring that the final Content is accurate and lawful.
PlaceHi may provide information about businesses, products, services, prices, offers, events and locations.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, PlaceHi is not the seller, merchant, restaurant, hotel, service provider, property owner, employer, landlord, healthcare provider, travel operator or other provider described in a Place profile.
Any transaction between you and a business is primarily between you and that business.
Businesses are responsible for:
their products;
their services;
their pricing;
taxes;
licenses;
consumer compliance;
refund policies;
representations;
fulfillment;
customer service;
safety and legal obligations.
PlaceHi does not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, availability or suitability of third-party businesses.
PlaceHi attempts to maintain a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available access.
The Services may become unavailable because of:
maintenance;
upgrades;
security incidents;
technical failures;
infrastructure outages;
third-party service outages;
internet failures;
events beyond our reasonable control;
legal or regulatory requirements.
PlaceHi may modify, suspend or discontinue features or Services.
Where a feature is materially discontinued and applicable law requires notice, we will provide notice as required.
Information on PlaceHi may come from:
users;
businesses;
public sources;
third-party services;
automated systems;
AI;
data providers;
community contributions.
Accordingly, information may contain errors, omissions or outdated material.
You should independently verify information that is important to you, particularly information involving:
health;
safety;
travel;
pricing;
opening hours;
accommodation;
addresses;
legal status;
professional qualifications;
financial decisions;
emergencies.
PlaceHi may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe that:
these Terms have been violated;
fraud or abuse has occurred;
security is threatened;
the account is being used unlawfully;
the account creates material risk to PlaceHi or others;
required authorization has been revoked;
the account is subject to legal or regulatory requirements.
Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, we may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Upon termination:
your right to access the Services may cease;
active integrations may be disconnected;
Content may become unavailable;
information may be retained where required or permitted by law;
backups and security records may persist for limited periods;
obligations that by their nature should survive termination will continue.
Sections relating to intellectual property, Content rights, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, privacy, and other provisions intended to survive termination will remain in effect.
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
what personal data we collect;
why we collect it;
how we use it;
how we share it;
how long we retain it;
how you may exercise applicable rights;
how we handle Google and other third-party data.
PlaceHi uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no Internet or information system is completely secure.
You acknowledge that:
transmission over the Internet carries inherent risks;
you are responsible for securing your account credentials and devices;
PlaceHi cannot guarantee absolute security.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PlaceHi, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
your unlawful use of the Services;
your violation of these Terms;
your Content;
your infringement of third-party rights;
your fraudulent or deceptive activity;
your unauthorized management of a Place;
your breach of representations made under these Terms.
This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not require consumers to assume liabilities that cannot lawfully be imposed upon them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
PlaceHi disclaims warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of:
merchantability;
fitness for a particular purpose;
non-infringement;
accuracy;
availability;
reliability;
suitability.
Nothing in this section excludes statutory warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlaceHi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data or anticipated savings arising from your use of the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlaceHi's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services will be limited to the amount permitted under applicable law and, where a contractual cap is legally permitted, the greater of:
(a) the amount you paid to PlaceHi for the relevant Services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
(b) INR 5,000.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable law or to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including certain forms of fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other non-waivable liability.
PlaceHi will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
natural disasters;
war;
terrorism;
civil unrest;
government action;
cyberattacks;
infrastructure failures;
telecommunications failures;
power failures;
third-party provider failures;
epidemics or pandemics;
labor disruptions;
other force-majeure events.
We may add, modify, remove or replace functionality.
Where changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we may provide notice as required by applicable law.
Your continued use of the Services after an updated version of these Terms becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent legally permitted.
Where consent is legally required for a material change, we will seek it.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated Terms will be posted on the Services with a revised "Last Updated" date.
For material changes, we may provide additional notice through:

in-product notification;
banner;
account notification;
other reasonable means.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the relevant Services and close your account, subject to applicable law and outstanding obligations.
If you believe that:
your rights have been violated;
unlawful content is hosted;
your personal information has been misused;
a Place is fraudulent;
an account is impersonating you;
your intellectual property has been infringed;
a review or Content violates applicable rules;

PlaceHi will process complaints according to applicable law and its applicable grievance procedure.
Where Indian intermediary rules or other mandatory laws apply, PlaceHi will follow the applicable statutory timelines and escalation mechanisms. India's current intermediary rules require publication of the Grievance Officer's details and provide specified acknowledgment and resolution timelines, including changes that took effect in 2026.
If you believe that Content on PlaceHi infringes your copyright, send a notice to:
Your notice should include sufficient information to identify:
the copyrighted work;
the allegedly infringing material;
the location/URL;
your contact details;
your relationship to the rights holder;
a statement that the information provided is accurate.
PlaceHi may request additional information before acting on a complaint.

Nothing in this section prevents an individual from exercising mandatory statutory rights or accessing a court, regulator, consumer forum, supervisory authority, or dispute-resolution body where such access cannot legally be waived.

Where legally enforceable and appropriate, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the laws and rules specified by PlaceHi.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to:
remove rights granted by mandatory consumer law;
restrict statutory privacy rights;
prevent lawful complaints to regulators;
prevent access to courts where such access cannot lawfully be waived;
exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded;
restrict rights that applicable law expressly protects.
Where the law of your jurisdiction provides additional protections, those protections apply to the extent required.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in force.
Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, Cookie Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated by reference constitute the agreement governing your use of the relevant Services.
Additional terms may apply to specific Services.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
PlaceHi may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
